Privilege Farangs

Hello you, Farangs !

I read from one girl wrote her story in the book about the waiter of one fine restaurant Bangkok down town left the door slammed her face just because he saw other customers approaching into the restaurant, the were farangs.

That girl babbled about the privilege services farangs had and the way she and her Thai family has been treated during that dinner. I think many Thai people have been faced the situation like this including me.

While I was looking for a blush-on (cosmetic) at MAC, Central Chidlom. Seemed BA (Beauty Advisor) enjoyed her job providing her advices until 2 farangs female stepped in to her counter, she suddenly left me..lolz..no more advices till I told her which one I picked and paid.

So, I want to ask you, Farangs. Do you really enjoy being treated as a particular valued customer ? Do You happy to see they leave other customers, approach to you ready for any services you ask for?

Why is that ? Bigger tip or what ?

Hello, these comments are correct for some occassions, but having lived in Thailand for 1 year in 2005 for when working for IBM, I found that there were times when I was treated worse than Thai people. There were also times that I was treated better than Thias but I don't think you should blame the foreigners for treatment that you recieved on a particular occassion. Stay happy
